MP2 Calculator

The MP2 Savings is a special voluntary savings facility with a 5-year maturity, designed for active Pag-IBIG Fund members who wish to save more and earn even higher dividends, in addition to their Pag-IBIG Regular Savings. Have you heard about it or are you interested to know how much your money can grow? We have made an app that you will find useful. MP2 Calculator is an app for computing how much your MP2 (Modified Pag-IBIG 2) savings may grow based on actual dividend rates.

Using the app, you can select the savings type you want (monthly savings or a one-time lump sum saving), input the savings amount, and select the start year. The app will then compute the dividends and total amount per year based on the dividend rate. If the dividend rate for the year is not yet available, it will use the latest available rate.

The output screen will display the results for both the annual dividend payout option and the compounded option. This will help you decide if you want to receive your payout annually or let it compound (and earn more) then withrdaw everything after 5 years.

Try the MP2 Calculator online at https://mp2calc.sweldongpinoy.com or download the Android app at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sweldongpinoy.mp2calc. Let us know how we can improve the app to help you more. If you have comments, suggestions, and inquiries, you can email us at info@sweldongpinoy.com or you can also send us a message.

Sweldong Pinoy and Budget Pinoy for 2024

Update: The increase in contribution for Pag-IBIG Fund (HDMF) will be straight to 200 instead of 150. The apps have been updated.

Sweldong Pinoy is a salary calculator for Filipinos in computing net pay, withholding taxes and contributions to SSS/GSIS, PhilHealth and PAG-IBIG. Budget Pinoy is a tool for Filipinos in finding out how much their asking salary should be based on their budget. In 2024, the contibutions for PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG Fund will be higher.

PhilHealth

In accordance with the Universal Health Care Act (Republic Act No. 11223), the PhilHealth contribution rate will now be 5.0% (from 4.5%) and the income ceiling will increase from 90,000 to 100,000.

Pag-IBIG Fund

Pag-IBIG Fund members' mandatory monthly savings was also scheduled to increase from the current P100 to 150 by January 2021 and to 200 by January 2023. These have been deferred from 2021 to 2023. The contribution is scheduled to increase in 2024. For now, the app is using the 150 rate and will update it again if it would be increased straight to 200 or deferred once again.

Sweldong Pinoy and Budget Pinoy Updates

We have already updated sweldongpinoy.com and budgetpinoy.com, and the Android apps (Sweldong Pinoy version 4.6 and Budget Pinoy version 1.4) with the changes to the contributions. If you want to compare the current (2023) and the upcoming rates, you can use the dropdown to change the year and compare how the salary will change.
